Check out some of the Blender-related auxiliary tools updated this month with XRender.
First released last June for Blended 2.93 Beta, BagaPie is a free Blender add-on developed by architectural visualization artist Antoine Bagattini. The geometry-node-based add-on focuses on optimizing architecture and environment creation for Blender artists. It brings features such as scattering, random arrays, as well as parametric presets like stairs, pipes, fence, etc., all of which greatly improve the creation workflow and have won the praise of many users.
BagaPie V7 was released earlier last month, came with new features like pie menu customization, custom shortcuts, adding several new generators for creating cables, tiles, metal sidings and fences. In addition, over a hundred of new assets were also supported.
As for the announcement of version 8 that updated this month, the ivy generator was updated with the support for gravity, collision and the option to ‘project’ ivy onto surfaces, like a texture.
What’s more, version 8 allows users to generate a custom UI panel for nodes, together with 70 new assets and 60 Biomes for scatter5 in BagaPie Assets, the asset library now containing Over 400 environment assets that fully integrated into BagaPie’s workflow.
BagaPie contains the BagePie Modifier and BagaPie Assets, the form is totally free of usage and the latter requires $85 (with a 25% off, which is $64 for now). The latest version is compatible with Blender 3.0+, you may click here to get the free modifier or check out its assets library from Gumroad product page here.
