With August and September, months that are like a feast of childlike animations, hero films and epic dramas are coming to an end, and we have finally ushered in October, the best month of horror them, a time that everyone is get ready for the once a year Halloween!
So for this month’s What to Watch series, XRender is going to bring you some of the horror-themed movies and series, and if you are a fan of this them get ready and bookmark the article!
| The Midnight Club (Oct 7th, Netflix)
As an adaptation of the 1994 novel of the same name by Christopher Pike, The Midnight Club is an American horror mystery-thriller streaming television series created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong, with Flanagan serving as showrunner and executive producer along with Trevor Macy.
The series follows the story of a group of eight terminally ill teenage patients at Brightcliffe Hospice, who begin to gather together at midnight to share scary stories– and make a pact that the next of them to die will give the group a sign from the beyond. A huge amount of sudden moments will be presented, get ready for the jump scares and take care of your hear! The series includes a total of ten episodes released October 7 and are all now available in Netflix.
| Chainsaw Man (Oct 11th, TV)
The animated series follows the story of Denji, a boy who lives in extreme poverty due to the huge debt left by his father. When he was tricked into being a sacrifice for a bunch of demons, Pokita, the one he accidentally rescued and killed low-level demons with him as a demon hunter in exchange for a reward demon, gave him his heart, brought him back to life with demonic powers.
The TV animation Chainsaw Man was adapted from the manga of the same name written by Fujimoto, and the production decision was announced on December 10, 2020.
In addition, if you are a fan of Japanese comics, you must be no stranger to the singer of this theme song, Kenshi Yonejin. Don't miss the long-awaited anime music above and get rock! The series is produced by MAPPA and will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 11, 2022, with a total of 12 episodes. Many bloody and violent scenes are contained, please be prepared in advance.

| Wendell & Wild (Oct 28th, Netflix)
Featuring the voices of Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Angela Bassett, and Lyric Ross, Wendell & Wild is a 2022 American stop-motion horror comedy film directed by Henry Selick. It is written and produced by director Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) and Jordan Peele (Nope, Get Out).
Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot (Lyric Ross) to summon them to the Land of the Living. The animated film will arrive at select US theaters on October 21st before its Netflix streaming premiere on October 28th.
