So even if you are totally new to Blender, you may easily get some effects stunning!

Have Fun with Blender – Generators Based on Geometry Node

We hope that more novices will be interested, and every creators will maintain the passion for 3D content creation. And in 2023, XRender will continue to bring you timely industry information. We will keep the original intention to build an ecosystem for visual industry and bring infinite possibilities to creator. Let’s take a look!

| Chain Generator

Just like the name, chain generator can help to generate countless variations from a single type of part. The Blender’s geometry-node-based generator is developed by Japanese artist @fujimoto0927. According to the developer, the add-on is meant to bringing a more efficient way to “solve the problem of how to make CG of metal chain parts, which is difficult to do by photogrammetry.”

Chain Generator

The chain generator includes materials of silver and gold, can be used for procedural editing, be adapted to curves in geometry nodes or curves that were handwritten.

Silver and gold materials

What's more, users may also apply the chain effect to arbitrary objects as wanted.

Arbitrary objects can also be chained

The add-on is free to download and is allowed to be used in commercial projects for Blender 3.3 or above. In addition, the Chain Generator Pro edition will be released on March 26, 2023, which will contain dozens of types of chain assets. You may click here to download the generator for free, or to purchase the Developer Support Edition to encourage more produce assets.
